As proud Sons of Confederate Veterans, we strive to protect and preserve our southern heritage and to honor the veterans of the Confederacy. To that end, The Shieldsboro Rifles, SCV Camp 2263, holds a monthly Camp Meeting highlighting interesting guest speakers and publishes an award winning newsletter (The Hancock Rebel). Many of its members are very active in authentic battle reenactments, period education, and living histories. We care for Hancock County cemeteries and do respectful memorials. We have a Monument Fund, aid in Genealogical Research, partner with Beauvoir, host an annual Lee Jackson Banquet, and much, much more…
